The Rape of Malaya

Another year, another post, another holiday that has ended. It makes me sad to head home these days as it feels like a ringside seat to watch our country getting raped and milked for all that it has by an elite few. I am no socialist but this is going beyond absurdity.

Everywhere i go people tell me about the kickbacks...from construction to mega pump-priming projects........one AG report done properly would surely reveal the extent of how much we are overpaying as taxpayers for everything.

Maybe Inland Revenue should start taking a closer look at the assets vs income of the chosen few...simple isnt it, X in but 2X out on their Porsche Cayenne Turbos and Richard Mille Tourbillons......at least make some back for the country. Not to mention the money that is stashed in SG. A friend of mine who handles UHNW individuals from Malaysia said ( >USD150mio in assets) said that business is so brisk, he cant handle the clients on his own anymore and has to get help. Nevertheless , i love my country and the myriad of colours, sights, sounds and smells.

All it needs is better execution and a LOT more accountability

I am in love with the BIC Camera song. its been playing in my head for the past week. Asia gets more detached from me by the day...maybe month.Japan was a nice distraction but ambition got in the way of enjoyment once again. the need to excel, move ahead, move further and faster weighs on me. but i would never see sights like this if I do move into gear once again.
